Ech0raix (QNAPCryptName) is a type of malware classified as ransomware that uses unusual methods of penetrating and encrypting user's data. Besides the typical system infection, it also spreads to physical network devices such as Synology or QNAP NAS, which are intended to ensure high-quality Internet connections.
